Syracuse cruises past St. John’s, 76-59
The Syracuse Orange made themselves at home at Madison Square Garden in a 76-59 win over the St. John’s Red Storm.
Kris Joseph lead the Orange with 18 points, and the team had four players score in double figures.
Remarkably, Syracuse’s 17-0 start is the second best in school history, and it comes during a year of relatively low expectations.
Their swarming zone defense held St. John’s to just 36.8 percent shooting from the field, while they shot well over 50 percent. ( Read More…)
